It was about taking the slow-cooked recipes from Uttam's family and the hand-pounded spices from our own Coorg estate and figuring out how to bring those honest, unhurried flavours into kitchens across Bengaluru. The name Curly Sue actually comes from our daughter, who has the ringlets to match. While I, Radhika, handle the flavour science and experimentation, Uttam brings the generations of hospitality experience that guide how we treat our guests. Our food is not fast food. We believe in the patient process of slow cooking, often simmering our meats for eight hours to get that perfect tenderness. This is why our Pandi Curry or signature pulled pork has a depth you simply cannot rush. Sharing this passion has taken us beyond just serving meals. We are proud to have been invited by institutions like Christ University to talk about the intersection of hospitality, entrepreneurship, and traditional Kodava cooking. We love the chance to educate the next generation of chefs about the importance of sourcing directly from an estate, no chemicals, just produce straight from our land by the Kaveri. Whether you catch us at a Bangalore pop-up, a night market, or order one of our DIY burger kits, you are getting the same quality we serve at our own table.
