Instead, we use recycled materials to make crafts, like painting old bottles or hand-printing T-shirts, so kids learn that celebration is about creativity, not consumption. It gets a bit messy, yes, but that is exactly when the best learning happens. ### Celebrating with Purpose Festivals are not just about dates on a calendar. At my studio in CR Park, they are opportunities to teach children about diversity, gratitude, and community. Whether we are celebrating Janmashtami by building a DIY dahi handi or exploring colors during our Holi sessions, the focus remains on the process, not the final product. ### Why Our Festive Workshops Work - **Sustainability First:** We try to use old boxes, scrap paper, and repurposed materials. This teaches kids that we can create beauty without wasting resources. - **Holistic Involvement:** It is not just art. We include storytelling, mindful chants, and movement to ensure children understand the cultural significance of what they are making. - **Small Batch Learning:** With only 4-8 kids per session, your child gets the space to ask questions, make mistakes, and shout with joy. ### What Parents Can Expect Most festive workshops run for 60 to 90 minutes. I ensure that every child—toddler or school-goer—takes home something they created with their own hands. If it is a Christmas workshop, we might do edible art; for Holi, we might do fabric painting. The goal is always to build confidence. As I tell all my students, 'I am confident. I am enough.' We carry that mantra into our festive celebrations, ensuring every child feels like a part of the family. ## About Curious Minds DIY I am the heart behind Curious Minds, where we trade screens for clay, paint, and real-life connections. My space in CR Park is less of a classroom and more of a creative home where your child can just be themselves—messy, loud, and confident.
