In our Pre-Academy, we don't just put kids in the nets to watch the ball. We run agility games, balancing drills, and fun challenges that build the motor skills required for cricket. It is about ensuring they fall in love with the game before they ever pick up a heavy bat. ### Building the Right Foundation Many academies force kids into 'net sessions' way too early. That’s a mistake. At 5 to 9 years old, a child’s body is still learning spatial awareness and coordination. Our Pre-Academy program at Spada Arenas and Golf Course Road is designed specifically for this developmental stage. ### Why Our Approach is Different We focus on 'team pehle, player baad' (team first, player second). This isn't just about cricket; it's about physical literacy. Our sessions include: * **Motor Skills:** Using ladders, cones, and movement games to improve balance and reaction times. * **Safe Environment:** We use a 'sports box' environment, which means the kids are contained, safe, and focused. No chasing balls across a massive, uncontrolled field. * **The 'Why' Behind the 'How':** Even at this age, we teach the logic of the game. We introduce the side-on bowling action and basic batting stances using soft-ball drills so they get the mechanics right without the fear of a hard leather ball. ### More Than Just a Hobby My goal isn't to create IPL stars overnight; it's to build smart cricketers. By the time these kids move to our junior groups, they already have a stable base, a high backlift, and, most importantly, a genuine hunger for the sport. If you are looking for a place where your child learns the game the right way, instead of just hitting shortcuts, you have found the right place. ## About Croire Cricket Club I’m Dhruv Singh, and I started Croire because I believe cricket shouldn't be about shortcuts. For these little ones, I personally ensure the environment is safe, fun, and focused on movement, not just mechanics. My team keeps them engaged so they learn the game naturally.
