Testing a made-to-measure dress or skirt pattern is more than just working up the rows. I perform a deep-dive audit on construction logic—checking how wrap closures sit, verifying bodice shaping, and testing how ruffles or tiers drape—to ensure your pattern is ready for confident makers. Whether it involves complex ribbing or delicate lace-up backs, I provide the real-world feedback you need for a smooth, stress-free pattern release.

### My Approach to Garment Testing

When I test garment patterns, I look at them through the lens of both a crafter and a future wearer. A pattern for a dress or skirt needs to be intuitive, but the math behind the made-to-measure formulas needs to be robust.

#### Construction & Fit Audit
I focus on achieving that perfect, flattering fit. I verify your sizing formulas, check drape against different yarn weights, and ensure that armhole shaping or waistbands don't just look good on paper but feel comfortable in motion. If it's a wrap skirt design, I verify that the ties are secure and the overlap provides adequate coverage. My goal is to ensure your final design is wearable, durable, and adjustable for different body types.

#### Technical Clarity
I don't just follow the pattern; I break it down. I log typos, clarify stitch counts in non-repetitive rows, and ensure instructions for hardware—like zippers, ribbons, or beads—are straightforward for an intermediate crocheter to follow.
