These moments define my path from the training ground to the commentary box. ## Photos and videos - ![Standing on the field in my gear. I believe in daring to be different, whether it's with a unique strategy on the field or a bold analysis in the commentary box.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/d9f5a92e-042e-4930-b667-803f7195cdd8) ## About Additional Work People often ask how I balance coaching with commentary. The reality is simple: the coaching ground is where I learn the technicalities, and the commentary box is where I apply them. Seeing a player improve his back foot work in the nets gives me the exact language I need to explain a dismissal on live TV. My work behind the scenes is just as important as the drills I run at Delhi Cricket Hub. Whether I am analyzing a high-pressure chase on television or breaking down a player’s technique for a digital feature, I never sugarcoat the process. If a team’s playing XI lacks balance, I say it. If a bowler’s action is flawed, I explain why. ### The Coach’s Lens in Media My analysis is grounded in years of field experience. I don't just look at the scoreboard; I look at the strategy. I provide: - **Pre-match breakdowns:** Assessing pitch conditions, dew impact, and probable playing XIs. - **Real-time game reaction:** Evaluating captaincy calls, field placements, and tactical shifts. - **Technical player reviews:** Using my BCCI Level 1 knowledge to dissect footwork, grip, and tactical matchups like Spin vs Power Hitters. ### More Than Just Commentary I bring this same intensity to corporate events, university sports programs, and match-day duties. My goal in every appearance is to provide the audience with an honest, direct take on the game. I want the viewer to understand the 'why' behind the action—the tension, the psychology, and the hard work that leads to a winning shot. When you hire me for a session or a match, you get the same 'Bahut badhiya' energy I give my students, combined with the technical depth required for high-stakes analysis. ## About Harish Dagar I'm Harish Dagar. I don't sugarcoat the game, and I definitely don't sugarcoat my work. Whether it’s on the field or in the studio, I bring the same no-nonsense, technical energy because the game deserves nothing less.
