We work strictly around sunrise or sunset to get that soft, glowy look, so flexibility with your schedule is essential. It is worth the early wake-up call to capture the authentic, breezy connection you share without the crowds. Unlike the controlled environment of my Borivali studio, the outdoors offers a vast, changing canvas. My outdoor maternity shoots are about movement, laughter, and letting the ocean breeze or park greenery set the pace. We typically block out a two-hour window for these sessions. I choose locations like Gorai Beach or the Sanjay Gandhi National Park because they offer the right mix of privacy and scenic beauty. Because we rely on the sun, these shoots are strictly scheduled during sunrise or sunset to ensure the light is gentle on your skin. I suggest wearing something flowy that catches the wind, but your comfort is the priority. I always have an assistant with me to manage gear and reflectors, so you do not need to worry about the logistics—just focus on each other. If you are worried about feeling awkward in front of the lens, please do not be. My role is to observe and guide, helping you relax into the moment rather than freezing for the camera.
