For pieces like my Republic Day or Independence Day art, I focus on balancing the structural discipline of the mandala with the specific energy of the occasion. I use gelly roll pens on black paper to make the colours pop, or fine-liners for intricate detail, translating that specific festive mood onto paper so each piece feels like a celebration. Art is more than just a wall hanging; it is a way to freeze the joy of a festival. For me, creating seasonal art is a way to honour the moments that bring us together. Whether it is the chaotic, splashy fun of Holi or the solemn pride of Republic Day, each piece involves a unique creative approach. ### My Approach to Seasonal Commissions **Concept and Colour** For festivals like Holi, I lean into vibrant, fluid patterns that mimic movement and energy. For national celebrations, I often use a mix of metallic fine-liners and traditional colours like saffron and green, grounding them with the symmetry of a mandala. **Working Together** You might have a specific memory or an idea for a festive gift. Since every piece is hand-drawn, we can discuss the size—from small, thoughtful A4 cards to larger, frame-worthy statement pieces. I work with 300 GSM quality paper to ensure your art lasts long after the celebrations have ended. If you have a special occasion coming up, just send me a message. Whether it is a gift for a loved one or a way to brighten up your home for the season, let us find a design that feels right. ## About Varsha I’m Varsha, and for me, drawing is 'my kind of therapy'.
