Our monthly calendars are a reflection of what our community craves, whether it is the quiet focus of a pottery workshop, the energy of an indie theatre show, or a deep-dive conversation on local history. If you see something you like, do not wait too long; we keep our batch sizes small to ensure everyone has enough space to really connect and participate. ### A Calendar That Breathes At Courtyard Koota, no two months look the same. We view our calendar as a living document, constantly shifting based on the artists we meet, the stories we want to tell, and the ideas our community brings to us. Whether you are looking for a weekend workshop or a mid-week talk, each event is designed to be accessible, whether you are a first-timer or a seasoned enthusiast. ### Why Our Community Events Matter We focus on creating spaces where the line between artist and audience blurs. When you attend a theatre show or a dance performance here, you are often feet away from the action. When you join a workshop for Shibori or pottery, you are learning alongside neighbors, not just sitting in a row. It is about the shared feeling of discovering something new together—what we sometimes call the Koota energy. ### Practical Details for Visitors - **Batch Sizes:** Most of our workshops are kept small, usually under 15 people, so everyone gets individual attention. - **Material Access:** For hands-on sessions, we provide all necessary tools. You just need to bring your curiosity. - **Our Space:** We use a mix of our library, main hall, and open areas. If an event description mentions bean bags or rugs, expect a relaxed, informal setting. - **Booking:** Events fill up quickly. If you see a date that works for you, booking your spot early is the best way to ensure you do not miss out. Whether it is the rhythm of a Carnatic fusion presentation or the intellectual spark of an author talk, we invite you to pull up a chair. There is always room at the table. ## About Courtyard Koota We are Natasha, Sridevi, Nanu, and Khushi—a small collective that turned a wild idea into this space for stories and art. We do not just put up walls; we invite you to share a seat, learn something new, and be part of the rhythm that keeps Koota buzzing.
