It’s an intimate stage—16x12ft—designed so the audience feels every beat of the footwork and every nuance of the dialogue. Whether you are planning a classical dance recital or a new theatre production, you get a dedicated sound engineer and lighting setup, meaning you don't have to scramble for technical basics on show day. ### A Space Built for Performers When we designed our stage, we prioritized the connection between artist and audience. We know that in dance and theatre, the energy in the room is everything. That is why our Tarana Hall features exposed brick aesthetics and professional LED track lighting, creating an atmosphere that is both rustic and performance-ready. You aren't just renting a room; you are accessing a space that is already set up for live productions. ### Technical Support That Works We provide a turnkey experience so you can focus on your craft rather than logistics. Our standard show slot includes: * **Production Specs:** An intimate 16x12ft stage with professional sound reinforcement (tops, monitors, mixers) and industry-standard Shure microphones. * **Technical Crew:** You get a dedicated sound and light engineer who stays for your sound check and live show. * **Front-of-House:** Our team handles gate management and ushering so your troupe can focus on getting into character. ### Why Choose Koota? We are a collective. We have hosted everything from classical Bharatanatyam and Odissi recitals to modern theatre plays like Girish Karnad's *Wedding Album*. We understand the grit required to put up a show, and we support you with promotion on our internal community groups and social media channels. We do not do cookie-cutter packages here. If you have a specific vision for your production, we are open to chatting and adapting to make it work. Our venue is a home for the independent artist, and we invite you to come see the space and talk about your next project. ## About Courtyard Koota We’re a team of artists and friends—Natasha, Sridevi, Nanu, and Khushi—who built this space in Kengeri to keep the arts alive. We aren’t a rental agency; we’re a community that loves seeing new productions find their feet on our stage. If you've got a story to tell, we've got a seat waiting for you.
