## About Puppy Foundation Program

### Why I Do This

Getting a puppy is amazing, but all the online tips can make your head spin. I keep things real and simple, skipping that old-school "alpha" stuff. My goal? Help you raise a happy, steady dog who feels safe and trusts you.

### What I Focus On

- **Confidence, Not Chaos:** Socialization for puppies shouldn't be wild. I guide you to introduce your puppy to new sounds, sights, and surfaces so they're not scared of the world.
- **Calm Puppy Training Techniques:** Teaching your pup to relax is just as important as play. We work on helping them settle on their own, not just when they're tired.
- **Crate Training Basics:** The crate isn't jail here - it's a safe den. This helps with potty training and keeps your pup chill when you can't keep an eye on them.
- **Early Recall Training:** "Ingu va!" (come here) should make your puppy zoom back with a wagging tail. We start recall early, making it fun and rewarding.
- **Preventing Puppy Biting:** Those needle teeth? We redirect them to toys, not your hands or feet.
- **Handling & Vet Prep:** We practice gentle touches so vet visits and grooming don't turn into a wrestling match.

### Who It's For

All puppies, any breed, from 8 weeks up. Training starts indoors, no matter if you’re in Bangalore or anywhere else thanks to online sessions.

When your puppy finally looks at you with trust, you'll know you did it right. That's the feeling I want you to have.

## Meet your expert

[Confident Dogs](https://mytribe.in/confidentdogs)

### My story

We’re Confident Dogs, and honestly, it all began with Junior, a rescue who taught us more than any book ever could. Back then, trainers just wanted to use chains and scare tactics. We said, nope, not for us. Our own Phoebe, wild and clever, proved that patience and play work wonders, even for the most fearful dogs. So here we are, still learning, still loving the chaos, raising confident dogs, not robots.

### My work

- **What we offer**: 1:1 consults (online & Bangalore), puppy foundation, behaviour help for aggression/fear, Online dog behaviour workshops, Pre-adoption dog counselling.
- **Our approach**: No shock or prong collars, ever. We use reward-based puppy training and positive reinforcement. It’s about your dog’s whole self.
- **How we work**: We get to know your dog and you, set routines, maybe some crate time, lots of games. Slow and steady, always step-by-step.
- **Real talk**: No such thing as a 'fully trained dog'. We help you build a bond, not just a list of tricks.
