## About Canine Behavior Modification

I believe working with dogs is all about trust, not control. My approach isn’t about quick fixes or treating your dog like a robot. It’s about helping you and your dog build a strong bond so both of you feel confident, calm, and happy together.

### What We Actually Do

- We dig into the root causes - fear, trauma, or anxiety - instead of just the symptoms.
- It’s a partnership: I coach you, you become the expert for your dog.
- No force, no intimidation, no “alpha” drama. Only trust-based dog behavior therapy.
- Change takes time. If you want overnight results, this isn’t it.

### Common Challenges We Tackle

- **Dog aggression solutions** focus on teaching neutrality. We find your dog’s comfort zone and make you their go-to safe spot.
- With fearful dog rehabilitation, we move at your dog’s pace. Whether they’re scared of people, the outside world, or the vet, we use positive reinforcement dog training to make things less scary.
- For resource guarding, I use simple games so your dog learns a human hand means “giving”, not “taking”.
- Sensitive dog confidence building is my jam. Every small win is celebrated, and yes, sometimes I say “Shabash, good boy!” when it happens.

### How We Work

- Science-based, always force-free methods.
- Step-by-step plan, customized for your dog.
- Available in-person in Bangalore or online (works just as well if you’re committed).

### Tools We Use (and Don’t)

- Muzzles and crates? Introduced as part of fun games, never punishment.
- No choke chains, no prong collars, no shock collars. Those just break trust.

If you’re ready to put in real time and effort, and want a peaceful home with a confident dog, you’re in the right place.

## Meet your expert

[Confident Dogs](https://mytribe.in/confidentdogs)

### My story

We’re Confident Dogs, and honestly, it all began with Junior, a rescue who taught us more than any book ever could. Back then, trainers just wanted to use chains and scare tactics. We said, nope, not for us. Our own Phoebe, wild and clever, proved that patience and play work wonders, even for the most fearful dogs. So here we are, still learning, still loving the chaos, raising confident dogs, not robots.

### My work

- **What we offer**: 1:1 consults (online & Bangalore), puppy foundation, behaviour help for aggression/fear, Online dog behaviour workshops, Pre-adoption dog counselling.
- **Our approach**: No shock or prong collars, ever. We use reward-based puppy training and positive reinforcement. It’s about your dog’s whole self.
- **How we work**: We get to know your dog and you, set routines, maybe some crate time, lots of games. Slow and steady, always step-by-step.
- **Real talk**: No such thing as a 'fully trained dog'. We help you build a bond, not just a list of tricks.
