## About Architectural Design

### How We See Architecture

We’re a bunch of architects and friends who genuinely believe a space should make you feel something. For us, designing is about crafting a vibe - not just walls and ceilings. We love it when light spills in just right, or a texture makes you pause and notice. Our thing is, every project should have a quiet elegance and actually fit into its surroundings.

### What Guides Us

We start every project with your story. What matters to you, your family, your memories - all of that comes first. Then comes the place: Ahmedabad’s brick, Uttarakhand’s stone, whatever speaks to the local scene. This context-sensitive design keeps things real. We’re not fans of cookie-cutter stuff.

### Our Work at a Glance

- Homes that breathe, not boxes. We use courtyards, split levels, and open corners for those little unexpected moments.
- If you want a flat that’s not basic, our customizable apartment layouts (like the CBHK) let you tweak things your way - bigger bathrooms, pet nooks, whatever works.
- For public and commercial spots, we focus on places that aren’t just functional but bring people together. Could be a market, a school, a lakefront - all about connection.
- We’re big on adaptive reuse architecture. Turning old, run-down buildings into cool new spaces, while hanging onto the history.

### What You Get With Us

- Spaces planned for how you actually live, not just how they look in photos.
- Materials that feel right for the climate and culture. No imported marble just because.
- We care about sustainability - natural light, green pockets, reusing what’s already there.
- We stick with you from sketch to site, so you’re never left guessing.

Every project is a bit of a journey. You and us? Co-passengers, figuring it out together.

## Meet your expert

### My story

We call ourselves Compartment S4, like a train ride with co-passengers, always moving, always learning. Our studios are in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, but really, our home is the creative process. We love site visits—sometimes it’s a dharamshala in Uttarakhand, sometimes a plaza for women in Ahmedabad. Design for us is quiet, strong, and rooted in care. We’re here for the stories, the laughter, and the spaces that bring people together.

### My work

- **What We Do**: Architecture, Urban Design, and Interior Design for residences, restaurants, and community spaces. We focus on adaptive reuse architecture and heritage revitalization design.
- **Our Approach**: Every project is a story. We keep it people-centric, context-sensitive, blending a lived-in vibe with minimalist residential interiors.
- **How We Work**: We sketch, shuffle, get our hands dirty. We listen to the place, the people, and let that shape the design.
- **What You Get**: Spaces that feel earthy and calm. We create visual and emotional anchors, where daily life meets thoughtful design.
