Whether it is the Navratri Thali or our Ramzan Iftar special, we craft these to order, so a heads-up helps me make sure your table and your feast are perfectly ready. Food is my way of marking time, and my seasonal and festive menus are where I get to truly play with that rhythm. I don’t believe in just checking boxes for holidays. Instead, I look at the traditions—the cooling properties of a summer Dal Vadai with Kokum Rassa, or the communal warmth of a Ramzan Iftar—and I rethink how they sit on a plate today. When you walk into Comorin during Navratri or Onam, you aren’t just getting a meal. You are getting a slice of a larger conversation. My team and I spend weeks working on the balance of the thalis, making sure that a simple ingredient like arbi gets the same attention as a rich Keema Lukhmi. We pair these traditional touchstones with a Comorin twist, whether that is a specific spice blend, a plating technique, or just how we serve it. Because these menu shifts are tied to the calendar, availability changes frequently. I often host these menus for limited windows to ensure the produce is fresh and the mood is right.
