When I cover a Gruhapravesh, a naming ceremony, or festivals like Makar Sankranti, I focus on the small details that make the occasion yours—the specific way the Havan fire flickers, the laughter during the traditional rituals, or the quiet moment of prayer. My approach avoids the standard, stiff portrait style. Instead, I move around the ceremony to capture the natural flow of the event as it happens. I know that for ceremonies like Vastu Puja or a traditional Naming Ceremony, you need someone who understands the flow of the ritual so they know exactly when to get the shot, without interrupting the sanctity of the moment.
