For our in-person sessions, please note that we operate as an activity-based center, so ensure your child brings a fully charged laptop to every session to get started immediately. At CodeShala, our camps are designed to move kids from being screen users to becoming tech creators. We offer flexible learning paths based on age and skill level: ### Our Curriculum Tracks * **Junior (Age 5-8):** We start with visual storytelling and animation basics using Scratch, making logic feel like play. * **Middle (Age 9-12):** This track focuses on mobile app development using MIT App Inventor or game design fundamentals. * **Senior (Age 13+):** Students dive into text-based coding with Python, Java, or Web Development, building a foundation for real-world programming. ### Why Choose Our Camps? We avoid standard lectures. Instead, we emphasize project-based learning. Every camp ends with a capstone project, like a functional math quiz app or a custom game, which your child gets to showcase and take home along with a certificate of completion. ### Practical Details * **Online Camps:** Delivered via live 1:1 video sessions. The schedule is flexible to match summer travel plans, and missed classes can be carried forward. * **In-Person Bootcamps:** Held at our Delhi-NCR centers (like Hauz Khas and Pitampura). These are small cohorts of 6-12 students. We provide the guidance and the environment; you provide the laptop. Not sure which level fits your child? We offer a free 1-hour trial class to help you decide before you book a full camp module. ## About CodeShala We are CodeShala, a school for code. We started this in 2016 because we wanted kids to stop just using gadgets and start building with them. We are not a standard tuition center; we are a space where kids learn to think like creators.
