You do not need to be a coding expert to sign up—we provide a full month of practice time and a free orientation webinar to get started, so your child feels supported and confident every step of the way. ### How the Competition Works We split participants into two groups so everyone competes at their own level. Juniors (age 6–9) can focus on simple animations or easy games, while Seniors (age 10–15) have the space to build more complex game projects. We provide a project theme and clear guidelines, giving your child about a month to work on their creation. It is not about writing thousands of lines of code; it is about logical thinking, creativity, and the joy of making something that works. ### Why Participate? - **No Experience Needed:** If your child is a complete beginner, do not worry. We provide step-by-step practice links and a live orientation webinar to help them get started. - **Showcase Talent:** Finalists get to present their projects live, which is a great boost for their confidence. - **Global Community:** Your child competes against peers from all over, making it an exciting, real-world experience. - **Prizes & Certificates:** Every participant gets an e-certificate, and top performers earn physical prizes and educational kits. ### The Honest Truth We know that learning to code can be challenging. Some kids will get stuck, and some will need guidance. That is perfectly normal. We encourage parents to be patient and view this as a learning journey rather than a test. The goal is for your child to try, learn something new, and maybe even surprise themselves with what they can build. ## About Coders Kingdome We are a team of moms who believe coding is the new reading and writing. We started Coders Kingdome because we wanted kids to see screens as tools for creation rather than just toys. We love seeing children light up when they build their first game.
