## About Your 'Arangetram': Celebrating Artist Debuts

When we host our Arangetram, it is not just a display of finished pots—it is the culmination of months of mastering the medium, from learning to wedge and throw to glazing and firing. If you are looking to join our next foundation batch or apply for the artist residency, reaching out to us now helps you understand if you are ready for the commitment of a professional public showcase.

For us, a pottery exhibition in Bangalore is about closing the loop between the studio and the real world. We believe that art gains value when it is shared, which is why we created the Arangetram and Hunar pop-ups.

Whether it is a sculptural piece inspired by temple architecture at a venue like Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath or a collection of functional tea bowls at a local cafe, our goal is to help our artists experience the thrill of a professional debut.

### The Path to Your Exhibition

- **Foundation Program:** This 4.5-month course covers everything from beginner hand-building to advanced wheel-throwing, ending with your work featured in our annual Arangetram showcase.
- **Artist Residency:** For those with 2-4 years of experience, our residency provides the space, stipends, and mentorship required to build a cohesive body of work ready for a gallery-level presentation.
- **Hunar Pop-ups:** These are smaller, intimate events where our artists meet the community, share the stories behind their pieces, and sell their work directly to enthusiasts.

We focus on the technical rigour required to produce saleable work—understanding kiln temperatures, glaze chemistry, and surface finishing. When you see the work in our gallery, you are seeing the result of hours of 'hunar' (skill) and experimentation. If you want to take your ceramic hobby to this professional level, we are here to support your growth.
