When you join our community, you get more than just a shelf for your work; you gain access to our mentorship program and a direct pathway to our annual 'Arangetram' gallery showcases. Whether you need peer-to-peer critique on a glaze test or someone to bounce ideas off while you throw, you will find a collaborative environment here. Our approach to pottery is built on the belief that art grows when it is shared. For us, a studio is not just a place to buy equipment; it is a hub for connection, learning, and artistic evolution. ### Why Join Our Maker Community * **Mentorship over isolation:** Our residency program pairs emerging artists with senior practitioners who provide honest, constructive feedback. You are not just left to figure it out alone; you get the guidance needed to refine your *hunar* (skill). * **Professional exposure:** We bridge the gap between hobbyist and professional through our 'Arangetram' debut showcases. This gives you a platform at venues like Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath to present, talk about, and sell your work to a real audience. * **Collaborative infrastructure:** From shared glazing stations to collaborative firing schedules, our studio in Koramangala is equipped to handle everything from individual experimentation to high-volume production. ### Residency Options We offer structured residency programs for those serious about taking their ceramic work to the next level. Whether you are self-funded or applying for our fellowship, you get access to our Shimpo wheels, slab rollers, and specialized clay bodies. It is a space to experiment, fail, learn, and grow alongside other potters who are just as passionate about the medium as you are. If you have 2 to 4 years of experience and are ready to dedicate time to developing a cohesive body of work, come by the studio. Let’s talk about your process and how we can support your journey from raw clay to a finished gallery piece. ## About Clay Station We are a collective of makers who believe that clay work is better when it is shared. We are not just here to teach; we are here to walk the path with you, from the first messy wheel throw to your debut exhibition. Come experiment with our glazes, share a chai, and find your tribe in our Koramangala studio.
