We use high-fat butter, which gives us the stability needed to build those elaborate swags and ruffles without the cake collapsing. It is a slow, methodical process where every pearl and swirl is piped by hand, meaning no two cakes are ever exactly the same. ### Why We Love Lambeth Piping We have a serious soft spot for the retro, ornate beauty of Lambeth-style cakes. This traditional technique is all about drama and detail. We use it to create cakes that look like they stepped right out of a 1950s bakery window, but with the flavour profile of a modern, high-quality dessert. ### The Process Every tiered cake we build gets internal doweling for stability, so you do not have to worry about the structure during transport. We do not use shortcuts or pre-made decorations. From the vanilla bean sponge to our house-made berry compote fillings, everything is baked from scratch in our Bandra kitchen. ### Customization for Your Event Whether you need a vintage aesthetic for a wedding or a bold, cheeky design for a birthday, we tailor the colour palette and piping complexity to match your vision. * **Flavours:** Our signature fillings include Belgian chocolate ganache and fresh berry compote. * **Dietary Options:** We can make one tier of your cake diabetic-friendly or gluten-free using almond flour, so nobody misses out on the fun. * **Design:** We love working with fresh flowers, custom toppers, and vintage colour palettes. Just tell us the theme and we will get to work. ## About Chubby Baker & Co. I am the Chubby Baker.
