## About Dessert Catering

### What We’re About

I’m the Chubby Baker, and desserts are my thing. We’re a queer-owned crew, and we bring honest, fresh sweets to your party - big or small. No shortcuts, no weird stuff. Just real butter, fruit, and chocolate. I run this like a home bakery but with a bit of flair (yeah, I was a Masterchef finalist).

### Events We Cater

We’re all about making your celebration sweeter. Here’s where we shine:
- Birthdays (kids, teens, grown-ups)
- Intimate weddings, anniversaries
- Baby showers, family get-togethers
- Corporate events, brand launches
- Festive blowouts (Diwali, Christmas, Holi - you name it)

### Menu Highlights

Our dessert catering covers:
- Cakes: Multi-tiered, sheet, heart or number-shaped. Crowd faves like 3-Berry Victoria, Pistachio Raspberry Gateau, Ultimate Chocolate Cake.
- Cupcakes: Mini or regular, party-perfect. Alphonso Mango Belgian Chocolate, Lemon Blueberry.
- More than cake: Brownies, lemon meringue tarts, buttery shortbread. Want something hatke (quirky)? We’re game.

### Dietary Needs? Sorted

Nobody misses out. We do:
- Sugar-free party desserts (Erythritol only)
- Keto, gluten-free celebration treats
- Vegan wedding sweets, dairy-free, egg-free

### Custom Touches

Got a theme? We love it. Disco, vintage, Lambeth piping, Ted Lasso shortbreads, moss cakes - we’ll make it happen. Custom toppers? Done. Your vision, our ovens. Let’s get creative.

## Meet your expert

[Chubby Baker & Co.](https://mytribe.in/chubbybakerco)

### My story

Desserts, for me, are memories. I still remember those Malu Christian tutors, their homes smelling like Christmas, and me peeking into their kitchens, wondering how Miss Marrykutty made fruit cake so perfect or why Miss Thomas’s cashew marzipan was next level. Baking became my way to recreate those childhood mysteries. As a queer baker, I’ve carved out my own space, open to all who want to support the community. My family, my cats, friends - they’re my backbone. This space? It’s for us.

### My work

- **Custom Cakes & Desserts**: I bake vintage Lambeth cakes, naughty theme cakes, cupcakes, brownies, Basque cheesecakes, and dessert carts for events.
- **Clean Ingredients Only**: Everything’s made fresh in-house. No weird stuff, just honest kitchen staples.
- **Healthy-ish & Diabetic-Friendly**: Zero-sugar, keto, gluten-free, and diabetic-friendly desserts. My protein bars for events have up to 20g protein.
- **Cakes with Attitude**: Want something thoda hatke? Custom cakes, giant cookies, funny requests, breakup cakes, anything wild - I love it.
- **Queer-Owned & Inclusive**: I’m a proud queer-owned bakery, always happy to work with women-led teams and anyone who believes in inclusiveness.
