I pipe each border by hand, so what you get is a labor of love that actually tastes like real, honest cake, not just a stiff, sugary fondant shell. There is something about a retro heart cake that hits different. I am constantly obsessed with the Lambeth trend because it allows for so much personality. Whether you want a moody black-on-black gothic vibe or a classic pink-on-pink princess aesthetic, I make sure the buttercream work is sharp, precise, and completely delicious. Unlike those commercial cakes that use pre-mixes and weird stabilizers, I stick to my roots. My vintage creations use the same high-quality base as my other bakes: scratch-made sponges, real butter, and fresh fruit compotes like my signature 3 Berry Victoria. If you have dietary needs, you do not have to miss out on the aesthetic. I can do these detailed designs using almond flour or sugar-free sweeteners without sacrificing the structure or that signature ruffled look. Everything is baked in my Bandra studio. When you book a custom Lambeth piece, we chat about the design, the color palette, and the cheeky message you want piped on top. It is about taking the vintage style and making it yours, whether that means funny, sassy, or elegant. Just a heads up, these cakes require time to set and pipe, so reach out a few days in advance. ## About Chubby Baker & Co. I am the Chubby Baker, and I am obsessed with all things retro.
