When you order from me, you're not getting a pre-mixed sponge off a shelf. I bake everything from scratch in my Bandra kitchen using real, honest ingredients, so that 3 Berry Victoria or the dark chocolate ganache actually tastes like it's supposed to. Baking for me has always been about recreating memories. I still remember the magic of childhood kitchens and that perfect fruit cake I couldn't stop thinking about. When I started Chubby Baker, I made a promise to keep things honest. No premixes, no ingredients with weird, unpronounceable codes. Just the kitchen staples you’d find in a home bakery—only, we do it in a commercial kitchen right here in Bandra. Being a proud queer-owned business matters to me. It’s about building a space where everyone feels welcome, thriving on our own terms, and showing that queer people are out here creating cool, delicious things. It’s not just about the cake; it’s about the community, my team, and the cats (who are basically the managers). Whether you want a vintage Lambeth cake with ruffles, a sassy breakup cake, or something strictly diabetic-friendly and keto, I approach it with the same obsession. I have shaky hands sometimes and I'm not perfect, but I promise that every cake that leaves my bakery is made with intention and zero shortcuts. ## About Chubby Baker & Co. I'm Rohan, and I'm the one behind all the flour and butter at Chubby Baker. Baking is my way of keeping memories alive, and I pour that same heart into every single cake. If you want something honest, delicious, and made with love, let's talk.
