If that sounds like your home, please stop the drills. We don't force writing here. Instead, we start with the fun stuff—interactive storytelling, sensory play, and phonics—so that writing becomes a natural output of their imagination, not a task they dread. Building a love for reading starts long before a child holds a pencil. In my 'Raise a Reader' program, we move away from rote learning and focus on the magic of stories. Whether it’s acting out a Julia Donaldson book or using puppets to bring a classic tale to life, I use theatrical narration to build vocabulary and focus. We keep it play-based: * **Phonics without pressure:** We don't just drill sounds. We fish for letters, play name songs, and connect sounds to stories so the child absorbs them naturally. * **Creative Writing:** For older kids, we focus on expressing their own ideas through storytelling and stage plays, which helps build public speaking skills and confidence. * **Sensory Connections:** My Mother-Toddler sessions blend messy play with early literacy, ensuring that even the youngest children associate books and words with positive, bonding experiences. Learning is about the environment we create. I keep my batch sizes small (10-15 children) to ensure that every child gets individual attention. My goal is simple: to make sure your child leaves with a smile and a genuine desire to open a book at home, not because they have to, but because they want to.
