Our training is built on live role-plays and real-time video analysis, so you actively practice the 'person is not the problem' mindset before applying it in your own practice. Whether you are a seasoned therapist, a school counselor, or a parent, you will walk away with concrete conversation techniques you can use immediately to empower growth in children and youth. ### Bridging Theory and Practice We believe that the most effective learning happens when you move beyond textbooks. Our Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) course is an IASTI-accredited program that prioritizes experiential learning. We focus on the 'how'—how to ask questions that elicit hope, how to identify strengths in the midst of a crisis, and how to create lasting change in a brief timeframe. ### What You Will Learn Our curriculum is designed to be comprehensive yet deeply practical: - **Foundations of SFBT:** Understanding the philosophy of co-creating solutions. - **Strength-Based Assessment:** Learning to see the potential in children and families rather than just the diagnosis. - **Technique Application:** Live demonstrations and supervised practice sessions in role-playing complex scenarios. - **Therapeutic Conversations:** Mastering the art of purposeful dialogue to shift from problem-focused talk to possibility-focused action. ### A Community of Learners When you join our program, you are not just attending a webinar. You are entering a community of practice. You will be guided by our experienced faculty—including Ankita Khanna, Sandra Jose, and international expert John Wheeler. Our hybrid model allows for self-paced study through our LMS, complemented by intensive live weekend reflection groups where you share experiences and get feedback from peers and senior consultants. ### Who Should Join? This course is suitable for: - Mental Health Professionals & Psychologists - School Counselors and Educators - Parents and Carers interested in nurturing resilience - Post-graduate students in psychology or social work Join us to build your skills in creating safe, inclusive spaces for the children and youth you support. ## About Children First We are Children First, and we’ve spent 15 years building a community that cares.
