## About Psychiatric Care for Complex Needs

We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all diagnosis. Our psychiatric care process begins with a mandatory 90-minute deep-dive assessment with a senior clinician, allowing us to map out a personalized care plan that addresses your child's developmental history, current stressors, and unique temperament.

Navigating significant mental health challenges like depression, anxiety, OCD, or ADHD requires more than just a clinical label. At Children First, we approach psychiatric care by differentiating the challenge from the child, ensuring that treatment feels like support rather than a process of being 'fixed'.

### Our Assessment Process
Every journey here starts with a comprehensive evaluation. This is not a rushed consultation. We conduct a thorough audit of your child's developmental milestones, behavioral observations, and risk factors. This allows our senior clinical psychologists and child psychiatrists to look beyond the surface behavior to understand the biological and psychological factors at play.

### Why Our Approach is Different
We avoid sterile, clinical settings. Our centers in Safdarjung Enclave (Delhi) and DLF Phase 1 (Gurugram) are designed to be non-clinical and sensory-friendly. We integrate our psychiatry team with psychologists and occupational therapists, creating a cohesive ecosystem where medication or diagnostic management is supported by ongoing therapy. This might mean combining psychiatric supervision with play-based therapy for younger children or executive functioning coaching for teens.
