Every student participates in internal practice leagues, learning to handle chess clocks, record moves, and process losses, all under the supervision of FIDE-rated coaches who provide immediate, actionable feedback. Most summer camps prioritize engagement. We prioritize progress. During these intensive sessions, we move students from basic piece movement to tactical sharpness, whether they are complete beginners or already eyeing a competitive rating. Our curriculum is built to push their limits while keeping the environment competitive. We run internal practice leagues that mirror official tournaments. This means students are exposed to formal rules, clock management, and post-game notation—essential habits for any serious player. Our coaches sit with the students after every round to break down their games, explaining why a specific move failed or how a blunder could have been avoided. Located at our Jayanagar facility, we maintain small batch sizes to ensure the environment is competitive enough to spark growth but supportive enough to build confidence. If you want your child to return from summer break with better focus, improved patience, and a genuine love for strategy rather than just screen time, this is where it happens. ## About Chess Shoots We founded Chess Shoots to fix a broken system. We believe summer should be productive, so we built a program that balances intense, tournament-style training with the right amount of fun. We keep our groups small so every student gets the attention they need to actually improve.
