When a parent texts us after a session to say their child finally feels confident with piece movements or is excited about solving a new tactics puzzle, we know we are hitting the mark. We share these honest updates so you can see the real, measurable progress our students achieve in both our Whitefield academy and online sessions. ### Why Our Community Matters We believe chess is a partnership between coaches, students, and parents. Since starting in 2019, we have prioritized clear communication. Whether it is a quick update on a child’s progress, a notification about a new tactic learned, or a proud message about a tournament win, we keep parents in the loop. ### What Parents Appreciate - **Transparency:** We break down every concept, from basic castling to advanced opening repertoires, so you always know what your child is learning. - **Individual Attention:** With a strictly capped 1:8 batch ratio, every student receives the focus they need to grow, regardless of their starting level. - **Real Results:** We are proud of our students who have moved from learning pawn moves to winning school and regional tournaments. ### The Check N Mate Approach We do not just teach chess; we build a foundation. By using digital tools, DGT clocks, and interactive group activities at our Whitefield center, we make the learning process fun and intellectually stimulating. We invite you to see the difference for yourself—book a free trial and watch your child find their next winning move. ## About Check N Mate We are a team of coaches who genuinely love seeing that spark when a child understands a new tactic. We built Check N Mate to make learning chess a fun, lifelong journey, not just another after-school activity.
