It is a living timeline of my evolution as an artist. You will see the stark, black-and-white grace of my early days during the ASIAD games, followed by the vibrant, contemporary energy of my Young Dancers Festival. Archives are vital in the arts. They preserve the 'how' and 'why' of a performance, not just the finished stage picture. When I look back at my own photographs from 1982, I do not just see a young dancer. I see the discipline that paved the way for my work today. My journey involves: * Reflecting on historical milestones, such as early festival performances and moments that shaped my career. * Championing new talent through platforms like the Young Dancers Festival, where artists like Abhinaya Nagajothy share their deep-rooted tradition. * Connecting the past with the present, ensuring that every movement carries the weight of history. This collection celebrates these transitions. It bridges the gap between my initial steps and the collective energy we build at Natya Vriksha today. Whether it is a solo recital or a group production, the goal remains: to keep the conversation between the dancer and the rasika alive. ## About Geeta Chandran I am Geeta Chandran. For me, dance is a perpetual conversation between tradition and the present.
