For a 15-minute speed painting set, I need a clear 4ft x 6ft space and good lighting to ensure the reveal hits home. For my large-scale rangoli work, I typically need 3 to 5 hours of setup time, depending on the detail required, and a flat, sheltered floor space to ensure the powder stays perfect. I break my art into two main formats: high-energy live performance and large-scale floor installations. ### Live Speed Painting This is my stage act. I turn a blank canvas into a portrait or custom theme in under 15 minutes. It is perfect for college fests, corporate launches, or awards nights. I perform to a set music track, and the reveal at the end is where the real magic happens. I bring my own heavy-duty easels and paints; you just provide the stage space. ### Large-Scale Rangoli Whether it is a traditional Sanskar Bharti design or a realistic portrait using charcoal and stone powder, I go big. I can cover floor areas from 100 to over 200 sq ft. I have created these for temple jatras in Kumta, mall openings in Bengaluru, and public festivals. ### Practical Tips for Booking - **Surface:** If you are booking me for an outdoor event, ensure the surface is flat and protected from direct wind or heavy traffic. - **Clean-up:** For indoor events like malls or office lobbies, I use non-toxic, high-quality powders that are simple to clean up once the event concludes. - **Travel:** I am based in Karwar, but I travel across Karnataka and beyond. If you have a specific theme, let me know in advance so I can plan the design and bring the right colors. ## About Chandan Devadig I am Chandan.
