When I work on these pieces, I pay extra attention to how the blouse contours to your body, ensuring the neckline sits perfectly flat and the sleeves don't bunch up, so you get that polished, sharp look without needing heavy embellishments. Simplicity requires as much precision as intricate bridal wear. My approach to these understated designs is to strip back the distraction and focus on the architecture of the blouse. Whether I am using Mysore crepe, raw silk, or cotton blends, the goal is always the same: a blouse that feels like a second skin. ### Why Details Matter Even in a minimalist design, small choices define the final result. I focus on elements that provide structure and grace: * **Clean Lining:** I use high-quality lining to ensure the fabric drapes well and maintains its shape throughout the day. * **Invisible Finishes:** I prefer concealed piping and neat stitching that disappears into the seams, leaving a seamless finish. * **Subtle Highlights:** If you want a touch of detail, I often add a single border of handmade tassels (kuchu) or a delicate line of beadwork.
