You must learn the four grips (forehand, bevel, thumb, and panhandle) and your footwork. At our academy, we make you practice these movements until they happen automatically on the court. Proper mechanics today mean fewer injuries and faster play tomorrow. At Champion Badminton Academy, we believe in building your game from the ground up. Beginners often rush into rallies without understanding the fundamentals, which slows progress later. Our sessions focus on the 5 S philosophy: Speed, Skill, Stamina, Strength, and Spirit. ### Why Start with Basics? - **Grips:** A proper grip is everything. We ensure you get comfortable with the forehand, bevel, thumb, and panhandle grips early on. - **Court Movement:** We teach you efficient movement, like diagonal running and scissor jumps, so you are always in the right position. - **Strokes:** Learn the mechanics of the Toss, Drop, and Lift correctly to avoid bad habits. ### Training Requirements We train at BSNL Dadar, Bengal Club, and Rustom Baug. Please note that non-marking gum sole shoes are mandatory to protect the courts and keep you stable.
