I never rely on digital filters or shortcuts. Whether it is a small A5 sketch or a large A2 family portrait, I use graphite and charcoal to build depth, sealing every finished work with a matte fixative spray so your memory stays protected from smudges and fading. ### My Approach to Your Portraits I treat every commission as a piece of art rather than a quick copy of a photo. My process relies on the grid method, which helps me maintain accurate proportions and capture the unique personality in a face. Whether you are looking for a realistic portrait of a loved one or a detailed study of an eye, I focus on the textures—the way hair falls, the reflection in the pupils, and the softness of the skin. ### What You Get With Every Order * **Quality Materials:** I work exclusively with graphite and charcoal on premium ivory or Bristol smooth paper. * **Durability:** Every portrait is finished with a professional matte fixative spray to prevent fading and smudging over time. * **Safe Shipping:** I take packaging seriously. Your artwork is carefully rolled in a rigid PVC pipe or heavy-duty mailing tube with a moisture barrier, so it arrives at your doorstep in perfect condition. ### Beyond Portraits While pencil sketching is my primary language, I constantly experiment with different mediums. You will see some watercolor studies and detailed practice sketches in this gallery. This constant practice is how I keep my hand steady and my eye sharp for your commissioned work. If you have an idea that is not a standard portrait—perhaps a wall mural, a customized nameplate, or a specific artistic vision—let me know. I am always open to creative challenges. ## About Shweta Rane Hi, I am Shweta. If I have a pencil in my hand, I am in my zone.
