We wrap every stem in custom-layered kraft paper, secure it with a hand-tied satin ribbon, and tuck it into a heavy-duty box designed to survive transit without a single petal bending. It is our way of ensuring that the love we pour into the crochet work actually reaches you. Starting CatChica wasn't just about selling crochet items; it was about finding a creative outlet while balancing life as a mom and professional. What started with just me, my yarn, and a lot of chai in my Mumbai home has grown into a space where my team—especially the wonderful Shazia—and I get to create small joys every day. ### Our Process: Progress Over Perfection We operate on the mantra of 'progress over perfection.' You won't find mass-produced, identical items here. Because we are a team of women creating these pieces by hand, every single sunflower, rose, or plushie heart has a tiny, unique variation. That is the soul of handmade. ### From Mumbai, With Love Whether you are ordering a personalized name pop-up for a birthday or a crochet bridal gajra for a wedding, we treat each order like a gift for a friend. We know that when you buy a forever floral arrangement, you are choosing something that lasts, unlike fresh flowers that wilt in days. We love knowing our work travels across India—from our table in Mumbai to your doorstep. If you have a specific color palette in mind for a gift or need something unique for an upcoming festival, just ask. We are always up for a challenge and love trying something new. Kyun na kuch alag try karein? (Why not try something different?) ## About CatChica Hi, I'm Afreen! I started CatChica as a hobby while juggling life as a mom, and now it’s a passion project run by a fierce team of women. We believe that what you buy should be as special as the person receiving it, which is why we put our heart into every single order.
