That comes from using professional DGT clocks and FIDE-standard boards in every practice match. We simulate tournament conditions during our regular sessions at Sunshine Library so when you face a real opponent, the clock feels like an old friend, not a source of panic. ### Why the Environment Matters You aren't just learning moves; you're learning how to stay calm under pressure. We host regular club tournaments and practice sessions at our centers in Prestige Tranquility and The Sunshine Library, Hoskote. By replicating the formal tournament environment, complete with DGT clocks and match notations, we remove the 'first-time jitters' that often plague players in their debut rated events. ### What Happens in Our Sessions Our classes are not lectures. They are labs. * **Tactical Drills:** We break down middlegame positions to force quick decision-making. * **Sparring:** You play against peers at your skill level, then we analyze the why behind the moves together. * **Tournament Prep:** For those chasing a FIDE rating, we focus on repertoire building and endgame technique, ensuring your preparation matches your ambition. Whether you are a beginner picking up your first pawn or an advanced player preparing for a Grandmaster Open, our goal is the same: to make your thinking sharper. We keep our batches manageable, ensuring you get actual feedback rather than just watching a coach demonstrate a game. ## About Catch64 Chess Academy We’re Catch64, and we treat chess as a way to sharpen the mind, not just a board game. Our coaches Arvind and Ojas bring their competitive experience straight to the table, helping students—from six-year-olds to adults—find their own strategic edge.
