It is not just about memorizing openings or standard theory; it is about understanding the logic behind every piece maneuver and mastering time management under pressure. Our instructors bring real tournament experience to every session, helping you identify your specific tactical blind spots rather than following a rigid, one-size-fits-all curriculum. At Catch64, our coaching methodology is built on years of active participation in the competitive chess circuit. Instructors like Arvind Iyer and Ojas Kulkarni are not just teaching concepts; they are applying their own tournament-proven insights to your games. When you work with us, you are getting more than a teacher. You get a sparring partner who can analyze your mistakes in real-time, whether that is a missed fork, poor piece coordination, or time trouble during a rapid game. We focus heavily on: * Tournament Preparation: Getting you ready for FIDE-rated events with deep analysis of your performance and psychological training for high-pressure matches. * Strategic Growth: Moving beyond beginners' traps into complex middlegame planning and advanced endgame mastery. * Personalized Feedback: We do not rely on generic worksheets. We tailor drills to fix your recurring errors, ensuring that every hour you spend training contributes to your rating improvement. Whether you are joining our group sessions at Prestige Tranquility and The Sunshine Library in Hoskote, or opting for 1-on-1 coaching, our focus remains on making you a more calculated, thoughtful player. We believe that chess success comes from consistent, deliberate practice. Our team is here to guide you through that process, providing the rigorous feedback and tactical puzzles needed to sharpen your vision. If you have been struggling to break past a plateau or are looking to start your competitive journey, connect with us to discuss your goals. ## About Catch64 Chess Academy We are a team of competitive chess players who believe that everyone has grandmaster potential waiting to be unlocked.
