We use professional DGT clocks in our regular sparring sessions, ensuring that students aren't just learning opening theory, but are also mentally prepared for the pace and intensity of official FIDE-rated tournaments. ### Building Competitive Strength At Catch64, we believe that serious progress comes from balancing rigorous study with consistent practice. Our curriculum moves beyond basic tactics, focusing on deeper strategic mastery—specifically analyzing middlegame structures and complex endgame scenarios that often decide tournament results. ### The Learning Environment Whether you are training at our Sunshine Library center in Hoskote, attending sessions at Prestige Tranquility, or joining our online arena, the environment remains the same: supportive, focused, and results-oriented. * **FIDE-Rated Pedagogy:** Your training is guided by instructors like Arvind Iyer and Ojas Kulkarni, who bring their own experience as competitive players to every lesson. * **Personalized Growth:** We review your specific tournament games to pinpoint recurring tactical errors—like time trouble or calculation blind spots—and build drills to fix them. * **Community Support:** Success is a team effort. We celebrate every milestone, from a student's first trophy at a school championship to crossing the 2000 FIDE rating threshold. ### Preparing for the Next Level We don't just teach the game; we guide your competitive journey. This includes handling FIDE registration for students, selecting the right tournaments for your rating level, and building a personalized opening repertoire that fits your playing style. If you are ready to stop playing casually and start competing, our tournament prep batches provide the structure to get you there. ## About Catch64 Chess Academy We are Arvind and Ojas, FIDE-rated players who believe chess is about more than winning—it's about learning how to think. We built Catch64 to give students in Bangalore the same intense, strategic training we relied on to grow our own ratings.
