## About Luxury Residential Architecture & Design

We design homes that feel rooted, not just placed. Before we sketch, we walk the land, listen to its stories, and let the landscape guide us. Our spaces aren’t showpieces - they’re meant to feel lived-in, like they belong to the earth.

### What Drives Us

- Nature isn’t just a backdrop. We orient homes to catch the best views, let gardens spill into living rooms, and sometimes even let the wild greenery climb over walls.
- Craft matters. Every project is built with locally sourced stone, wood, and brick. We collaborate with artisans, so nothing feels mass-produced.
- We keep things quietly sustainable. That means passive cooling, cross-ventilation, and local materials to keep the carbon footprint down. No fancy tech for the sake of it.

### Across Terrains

Our work stretches from Alibaug’s coastal villas with basalt exteriors, to off-grid Himalayan retreats that handle heavy snow, to open-air Zanzibar escapes that capture the ocean breeze. Each place asks for its own solutions - sometimes that’s solar power, sometimes it’s mud walls.

### Making, Not Just Drawing

We don’t just plan on paper. We build full-scale mock-ups right on site to get the proportions and feel right. That way, every little detail adds up to a home that feels whole.

### Seamless Interiors

Inside and outside flow together. Natural materials, custom furniture, and smart openings for daylight shape rooms that are elegant but relaxed - nothing too perfect, but always comfortable.

Our studio’s in Mumbai, but our approach travels. We take on homes from Kamshet farmlands to Michigan lakesides, keeping our philosophy intact: handcrafted residential architecture, always anchored to its place.

### My story

We’re Case Design, a Mumbai studio but honestly, our ideas wander far. One week we’re in Michigan by a lake, next we’re soaking up wisdom at Nakashima’s workshop. We’re big on learning - mud walls, timber joinery, whatever’s new, we’re up for it. Our hearts? Right here, building futures, like with Avasara Academy in Pune. For us, architecture’s about people, places, and purpose, not just pretty buildings.

### My work

- **What we do**: We design homes, villas, boutique hotels, spas, restaurants, and handle everything from bespoke landscape design to custom furniture.
- **How we work**: We’re hands-on, always on site, building mock-ups, getting our hands muddy. Projects grow slowly, sometimes monsoon slows us, but we keep at it.
- **Craft and materials**: We use natural materials—stone, wood, mud, lime. Love working with local craftsmen, because details make the design.
- **Nature and connection**: We want our spaces, like custom villa architecture or a retreat in the hills, to feel part of their surroundings.
- **Teamwork**: We’re a bunch of architects, designers, artists, artisans—collaboration is our thing.
