If you’re choosing the A4 black and white option, I add signature neon highlights with permanent markers, which really makes the features pop compared to a standard pencil sketch. ### Why Choose a Hand-Drawn Portrait? People often give pens or mugs as gifts, but those are easily forgotten. A hand-drawn caricature is a unique way to show someone you put thought into their gift. It is about capturing a person's features in a fun, recognizable style that makes them laugh or smile every time they look at it. ### The Process It is simple. You send me a clear, high-quality photo where the facial features are visible. I spend time studying the face to ensure the cartoon version still looks exactly like you. Whether it is a single face, a couple, or a pet, I put in my 'mehnat' to make sure the end result is something you will want to frame and keep. ### My Material Promise I do not use cheap materials. For my color portraits, I use mixed media like soft pastels and professional markers on 250 GSM paper to get those vibrant skin tones right. Once finished, I coat the artwork with a fixative spray to prevent smudging. If you opt for the rustic wooden slice, I use high-contrast black ink on a sanded, varnished log slice that is ready to stand on your shelf immediately. Every piece is packed in a rigid tube or bubble wrap to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition, no matter where you are in India. ## About Kamal Kaku I’m Kaku, and for me, art is pure khushi. I’ve spent over 25 years sketching faces all over India, from Dilli Haat to big weddings, just to see that smile when someone says, 'Bahut achha banaya hai.'
