It is not just about learning a cartwheel or a kick; it is a physical conversation where we support each other's growth. Whether it is your first Batizado or you are just starting, you will find a group that celebrates your progress and cheers for every move you make. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form that works like a factory for friendship. When you step into our academy, you are not just walking into a fitness class; you are joining a circle of people who share, play, and learn together. We focus on the Roda, the circle where the energy of the room drives every movement. Music is the heart of this community. We do not just train; we sing songs in Portuguese, play traditional instruments like the berimbau and atabaque, and clap to rhythms that connect everyone in the room. This makes our training sessions feel less like a workout and more like a gathering of friends. Our community events, especially the Batizado (grading ceremony), are where we celebrate everything we have learned. It is a festival of energy where senior students and beginners share the same floor. We see people from all walks of life—from toddlers in our kids' batches to professionals in our corporate workshops—all finding their own flow. You do not need to be super fit or a dancer to join us. We believe that sab kuch chalta hai (everything works), and our group is built on support rather than competition. If you are looking for a way to de-stress, build confidence, and make friends who actually care about your growth, this is your tribe. ## About Capoeira Academy Hi, I am Ravi. I have been living the Capoeira life since I was 14, and for me, it has always been about the people. We are not a gym; we are a family that jams, trains, and grows together. Come by, and you will see how quickly strangers start moving as one.
