We don't teach perfection; we teach you how to Ginga (our foundational movement) and connect with the music. Whether you are joining a corporate session or one of our weekend farm retreats, the goal is always to find your own flow and learn the rhythm, not just copy my moves. ### Why Join a Workshop or Retreat? Capoeira is a complete culture. While our regular classes focus on building skill over time, these workshops and retreats are designed for immediate immersion. They are perfect if you want to test the waters, dive deeper into specific techniques like acrobatics, or simply find a supportive tribe to disconnect with for a weekend. ### What You Will Actually Do - **Introductory Workshops:** We break down the Ginga, basic kicks, and even introduce the Berimbau. It is not a fight; it is a conversation. You will leave these sessions feeling physically engaged and mentally lighter. - **Weekend Bootcamps:** If you are ready to level up, we spend 8 to 10 hours diving into niche skills. We work on partner flows, combat movement sequences, and the percussion side of things. It is intensive, but we keep it fun. - **Immersive Retreats:** Hosted in spaces like our farm retreats in Bengaluru, these are about connecting with nature and community. It is a full experience—movement, music, laughter, and zero pressure. ### The Vibe Our spaces, whether at Dhurii Academy in Bengaluru or the Shaolin Temple in Mumbai, are built on Axé (positive energy). You don't need a uniform or prior experience in martial arts. Bring comfortable clothes, a water bottle, and an open mind. We keep our groups small to ensure everyone gets enough attention to feel safe while playing in the Roda.
