We prepare it right at your table, adding the final dusting of cocoa and a drizzle of liqueur exactly when you're ready. It's meant to be shared, so come with someone you want to sit with for a while. ### Dessert as a Language At Camillo’s, dessert isn't an afterthought; it is a vital part of the Italian dining ritual. My approach is simple: keep the ingredients honest and the experience real. Whether you are wrapping up a long, lazy lunch in our garden or ending a dinner, these dishes are crafted to slow down the clock. ### The Tableside Experience My deconstructed Tiramisu is the highlight of this experience. By keeping the mascarpone cream, coffee liqueur, and cocoa separate until the very last second, we ensure every bite is fresh and textured. Preparing it at your table allows you to see the care that goes into it—it's not just about the taste; it's about the theatre of the moment. ### Texture and Comfort - **Basque Cheesecake:** I prefer a deep, burnt top that gives way to a silky, creamy interior. It’s rich and comforting, perfect to pair with a barista-made coffee on a quiet afternoon. - **Hazelnut Chocolate:** For those who want something indulgent, this pairs a crisp praline base with dark chocolate mousse and torched meringue. The cinnamon ice cream alongside adds a warmth that rounds out the sweetness. We are located in Friends Colony West, and I’ve designed the space to be a modern Italian trattoria where you can lose track of time.
