Whether you need unique party favors or a thematic accent for your dessert table, I hand-paint and sculpt each piece to match your vision. ## Photos and videos - [Video: Part one of my cookie competition entry. This video shows the process of creating the individual elements for the 3D dance stage, from piping tiny royal icing flowers to painting the rangoli pattern and creating pleated textures for the dancer's costume.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/bb94ac69-cc4c-4eca-8511-d511c087ff02) ## About More Than Just Cakes: Custom Cookies I don't just use standard cutters. I build 3D structures and use techniques like airbrushing with resists to create spotlight effects, or even piping and pressing textures to get realistic fabric pleats. They aren't just sweet treats; they are miniature displays that anchor a dessert table. When I started Cake It Easy back in 2013 in Malleswaram, I quickly realized that my love for storytelling didn't have to stop at cakes. Cookies, to me, are the perfect medium for small, intricate details that would be lost on a larger canvas. ### The Art of the Cookie Every set I make starts with a concept. For instance, in a recent competition entry, I created a 3D cookie stage inspired by a classical dance performance. This involved baking specifically cut shapes, piping tiny royal icing flowers, and even using a cupcake liner to press realistic pleats into the dancer's costume. I use a mix of royal icing transfers, hand-painting, and airbrushing to bring depth to these designs. If you need cookies to match a specific theme—whether it's for a wedding, a birthday, or a corporate event—I focus on the structural integrity as much as the aesthetic. ### Practical Considerations Because these are delicate, hand-decorated pieces, all cookie orders are available for pick-up from my studio in Malleswaram. When you transport them, keep your car air conditioning on; royal icing and humidity do not get along, especially in our Bangalore weather. Whether you are looking for edible party favors or want to incorporate unique, personalized cookie art into a dessert spread, I am happy to experiment with your ideas. Reach out and let me know what theme you are working with, and we can figure out the design together. ## About Namita Baindoor Hi, I’m Namita.
