This method allows me to use fresh, sanitized flowers, gold leaf, and custom acrylic toppers that look stunning without compromising on the taste of the sponge or filling. If you value a clean, modern aesthetic where the quality of the cake itself takes center stage, this is the right approach for your event. Many of my clients come to me because they want the beauty of a designer cake without the thick, sugary layer of fondant. By using premium buttercream or ganache as the base, I can create finishes that are just as striking—whether that is a minimalist black and gold theme or an ombre floral design. ### Why Choose Buttercream Over Fondant? - **Better Taste:** Buttercream allows for richer fillings like Belgian Chocolate, Red Velvet, or Fresh Fruit Gateau. - **Modern Aesthetics:** We use fresh, sanitized flowers like Roses, Baby's Breath, and Lisianthus to add natural texture and colour. - **Personalization:** From hand-painted details and stenciling to gold leaf accents, we can customize every aspect to match your event theme. ### How We Create Your Cake Every cake starts in my kitchen in Sushant Lok, Gurugram. I use sturdy, reinforced cake drums and tall window boxes to ensure your design arrives in perfect condition. When you share your event theme—whether it is an anniversary, a corporate event, or a birthday—we work together to pick a colour palette and style that fits. Since these cakes are made fresh, I recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance, especially if you need specific floral colours or custom acrylic toppers. If you have dietary preferences like gluten-free or vegan, just let me know; I can adapt these designs to suit your needs. ## About Cake Studio by Menakshi I’m Menakshi, and my kitchen is where memories meet buttercream. I believe a cake should be the perfect centerpiece, so I skip the heavy fondant and focus on fresh flowers and handcrafted details that let the flavour shine.
