We do not just install storage; we look for ways to weave tradition into the everyday, like using terracotta textures or hand-drawn kolams that ground the space from the moment you walk through the door. Great design often hides in the small spaces where we spend our quietest moments. We approach these areas not as leftover square footage, but as opportunities to define the rhythm of your home. ### The Foyer: A Meaningful Welcome The entryway is the first thing you see after a long day. We avoid standard shoe racks that clutter the view. Instead, we create entryways that tell a story, perhaps with a rustic console table or a textured wall finish that greets you with warmth rather than chaos. ### Studies That Focus In a world of distraction, a study needs to be a place of clarity. We build custom-made desks that fit your specific height and workflow, integrated with smart shelving that keeps your books and materials organized but accessible. Whether it is a 9-foot desk for a home office or a cozy corner in a living room, we build it to support your focus. ### Patios and Nooks: Bringing the Outside In A balcony or patio should be an extension of your living room. We work with natural materials like wooden decking, concrete seating, and large planters to turn open terraces into quiet retreats. It is about creating a space where you can sit with a cup of tea, watch the sunset, and feel completely disconnected from the city noise outside. We focus on the details that make a space usable and personal. From window seating with hidden storage drawers to reading nooks that catch the afternoon sun, we prioritize function without losing that touch of Indian heritage we love. ## About By the Riverside I am Swati, and for me, design is like a yoga practice—it requires patience, presence, and a deep breath. We do not chase trends at By The Riverside. We look for the quiet corners of your home where you can truly be yourself, helping you weave your memories and heritage into every square inch.
