These are closed, self-sustaining ecosystems that recycle their own water. If you see a little condensation inside the glass, it means the plant is perfectly happy and needs no intervention. Please remember, they usually die from kindness, not neglect. When I build these, I am not just putting plants in a jar. I am creating a miniature world. Whether it is the Through The Forest design that mimics a woodland floor or a geometric piece for a modern desk, every vessel contains a precise balance of substrate, drainage stones, and activated charcoal to keep the ecosystem healthy. I use humidity-loving plants like Fittonia and lush patches of moss that perform beautifully in our Delhi and Gurugram climate. Because the environment is sealed, these plants do not suffer from the dry air of air-conditioned rooms. They are ideal for people who want greenery but do not have the time for daily maintenance. From my studio in Nirvana Country, I pack and deliver these across Delhi NCR. I ensure every piece is stabilized for at least two weeks before it leaves my hands, so you receive a healthy, established ecosystem. If you are looking for a gift, my festive hampers pair these living worlds with other local, artisanal treats. Whether you are a plant novice or a collector, these pieces bring a quiet, grounded energy to your corner of the room. ## About ByTheLeaf I am Deepika, the person behind ByTheLeaf. I started this journey because I believe nature is the best therapy, and I wanted to help others create that same peace in their own spaces—even if you have never had a green thumb before.
