Instead, you'll see AFC-certified coaches working in small 1:10 ratios, turning agility exercises into games that keep kids moving. We specifically use the 'Kidothon' curriculum at the Padukone-Dravid Centre, which prioritizes color identification and basic coordination over intense competition, so your child builds confidence before they ever worry about scoring a goal. ### How Our Weekend Sessions Work Football at BYFL starts with smiles, not scoresheets. We run our toddler and youth programs every weekend at the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence in Yelahanka. Because we believe in a balanced approach, we structure our sessions to fit into your busy family schedule while ensuring the kids get the right level of engagement. ### The 'Kidothon' Curriculum For our youngest players, aged 3.5 and up, we avoid traditional drills. We use our 'Kidothon' approach, where games look like play but function as targeted skill development. * **Coordination & Balance:** We use cones, bibs, and varied terrain to help kids learn how to move their bodies with a ball at their feet. * **Cognitive Drills:** Simple tasks like color identification help keep young minds sharp and engaged during the 60-minute sessions. * **Small Groups:** With a ratio of roughly 1:10, your child gets personal attention from our AFC-certified coaches, ensuring they never feel left behind. ### Moving From Play to Performance While our toddler program focuses on the basics, we provide a clear pathway for growth. As players develop, the curriculum evolves. We transition from fun-based play into technical skill acquisition and tactical awareness, preparing kids for the AIFF and KSFA leagues if they choose that path.
