It involves lots of trial and error—what I call 'frog life'—where I sometimes have to unravel and restart to get the tension and shape just right. **The Art of Blocking** One of the most important steps that happens off-camera is 'blocking.' This is how I ensure your ornaments, coasters, and festive decor hold their form. By pinning the crochet piece to a board and using a gentle water-based stiffener, I coax the fibers into their intended shape. It turns a soft, limp piece of yarn into a durable, structured item that lasts. **My Creative Space** My desk in Bengaluru is often chaotic, covered in safety eyes, polyfill, and whatever current project has my attention.
