I look for the unique spark of creativity in each performance, using my background as both an engineer and a storyteller to provide feedback that actually helps students build confidence in their own voices. Schools are where the next generation of readers and thinkers is built. Whether it is an annual function, an inter-school literature competition, or a specialized creative writing workshop, I tailor my involvement to fit the specific needs of your institution. I have had the privilege of working with schools like St. Xavier's, where I have served as a judge and guest of honor for events exploring themes as vast as 'Mysteries of the Universe.' My approach to these sessions is interactive. For judging, I focus on voice modulation, stage presence, and the narrative arc of the performance. For guest speaking, I move beyond simple readings to engage students in conversations about empathy, curiosity, and the craft of writing. I also offer workshops for students aged 8 to 17, helping them bridge the gap between reading stories and writing their own. If you are planning an event and looking for someone to bring an element of storytelling or structured literary expertise, let's talk. I keep my batches and sessions focused to ensure every child gets the chance to participate, not just watch from the sidelines. Whether it is a one-off event or a collaborative series, my aim is to make literature an active, enjoyable part of the school calendar. ## About Bukmuk I am Shefali, and whether I am in a classroom or on a stage, my focus is the same: raising readers and thinkers. I love collaborating with schools because that is where the magic really happens—watching kids find their voice through stories.
