I focus heavily on this lock—holding that arm steady until the front foot lands. If you do not get this position right, your body momentum is wasted, and your accuracy will never be consistent. We fix this with specific drills right here at the academy. Bowling is not just about raw speed; it is about rhythm, repeatable action, and deception. Whether you are working on your outswing or trying to land that perfect leg-spin, the process remains the same: basics first. At Brigade Cricket Academy, we break down your bowling action frame-by-frame. ### My Approach to Bowling I don't believe in generic advice. We use video analysis with voiceover breakdowns to show you exactly where your wrist position or release point is letting you down. If your inswing is not landing, we check your shoulder alignment. If you are struggling with pace, we look at your run-up approach. ### Training Modules * **Seam & Swing Control:** We work on keeping the seam upright and using the crease to create angles that make it difficult for batsmen to read you. * **Pace Generation:** Using bowling machines and 145kmph RoboArm throwdowns, we simulate high-pressure scenarios to help you understand how to control your speed without losing accuracy. * **Spin Mastery:** From the grip to the pivot and the final flick, we teach you how to drift and turn the ball, not just bowl it. ### Why It Works Success in cricket is a *tapasya* (a dedicated journey). You will not become a match-winner overnight, but if you commit to the technical drills—the shadow practice, the hurdle run-ups, and the constant video feedback—you will see a change in your performance.
