Students bring their own sketchbooks and paints, which gives you the freedom to choose brands you are comfortable with and builds a kit you can continue using at home. If you prefer a completely hands-off experience where we provide all the tools, you might prefer our weekend DIY workshops instead. ### How We Approach Acrylic Painting At our studio, we believe painting is a language. We move beyond simple copying to help you understand the mechanics of what you are creating. Our acrylic courses for adults and teens are structured to help you gain confidence, whether you are a complete beginner or looking to advance your skills. **What You Will Learn** We break down complex imagery into manageable steps. You will explore: * **Foundational Skills:** Understanding light, shadow, and value tones to give your paintings depth. * **Technique:** Mastering acrylic blending and impasto methods to achieve different textures. * **Thematic Studies:** We tackle varied subjects like still life, landscapes, and monochrome studies. We also delve into art history, often referencing Impressionist techniques to show how color and light interact on canvas. **The Studio Experience** Our HSR Layout space is designed for focused, personal growth. By keeping batch sizes small, we ensure you receive individual feedback rather than getting lost in the crowd. If you are preparing a design college portfolio, we can adapt our instruction to help you develop the technical range required for exams like NID and NIFT. We provide the space and the guidance, while you bring the curiosity to create. No prior experience is necessary; just bring your patience and a willingness to get creative. ## About BrainArt Studio We believe art is about learning how to see, not just copying what is in front of you. Our studio in HSR Layout is a space where adults and teens learn to express themselves through paint, one brushstroke at a time. We are here to help you move from basic sketches to finished canvases.
